Overview

Kepware Technologies is a Portland, Maine company specializing in Open Process Control (OPC) and device communication technologies for the industrial automation market. Kepware promotes standards-based software and interface development using OPC and C++ on diverse hardware and software platforms.

Kepware Technologies is very interested in growing engineering expertise at the University of Maine. UMaine graduates are among the best-educated, hardest working, most reliable, and loyal employees of Kepware. They have recognized this talent must be cultivated early. Highly capable students must be recognized and encouraged to develop their intellectual expertise and given the opportunity to participate in one of the fastest growing industries of the 21st century.

Kepware Technologies is proud to support Engineering education at the University of Maine by offering three scholarships in the amount of $7,500 each awarded to students maintaining a 3.0 or better GPA. We will have a scholarship application page specifically for these scholarships soon. Meanwhile, please fill out the ECE Scholarship Application Form and specify "Kepware" in the Other Scholarships box to indicate your interest in these scholarships. Upon completion of this form, click the submit button. If you are selected for review, all information you provide will be submitted to representatives of Kepware Technologies for final award selection. All information will be treated in a confidential manner. Application deadline for Fall 2008 awards is September 15, 2008.
